The Truth of Shajareh Tayyibeh: The Intentional Bombing of a School Without Military Targets
Documented reports from the Minab school tragedy reveal that the educational center was intentionally targeted. Abbas Heidari, a Red Crescent volunteer who arrived minutes after the strike, confirms that there were no military targets near the school, as the adjacent base had been vacated years prior. He states: "The school had been at this location for over eight years, and everyone was aware of its civilian nature." During the rescue operation, volunteers managed to pull five students alive from the rubble, though one later passed away in the hospital. The husband of Fatemeh Fadavi, one of the martyred teachers, says: "The fact that three missiles were fired in a short interval proves the intentional nature of this crime. They attacked a school where 300 students were present—a crime that is a clear violation of all international human rights laws."
