Construction of Modern Educational Complex and Permanent Memorial at Minab Tragedy Site

The head of the Organization for Renovation, Development, and Equipment of Schools has unveiled a major government plan to keep the memory of the Minab tragedy martyrs alive. According to this statement, a well-equipped and modern educational complex with a vast built-up area is to be constructed on the former site of the destroyed 'Shajareh Tayyebeh' primary school. This complex will include two independent 12-class schools for primary and secondary levels, equipped with the most modern educational and welfare facilities [130, 131, 132]. In addition to the educational section, a special part of this area will be dedicated to a permanent memorial and an educational-cultural space. This memorial is designed to honor the names and memories of the 168 victims of this incident while conveying the depth of the tragedy and the innocence of the students to future generations. It is expected that this center will become the cultural hub of Minab, housing spaces such as a specialized library, a hall of thought, and visual symbols commemorating the angels. Officials have stated that the architecture of this building will be a combination of symbols of resistance and innocence to convey the message of peace and the right to education for children to the world.
